Can games help us design? 

Jennifer Tate’s Gamification of Industrial Design is the investigation of the cross-section of gaming mechanics and design. Exploring how games can have a positive impact on design and the design process, produced objects that investigated how simplification of form and material can transform beloved geek pop culture objects. Using the power of gaming mechanics, she created a game/ design process, focusing on encouraging the mind to connect seemingly disparate ideas to produce out of the box concepts.
